Many thanks to Denise Robinson for hosting the Holiday Party at her beautiful home in Middletown, Connecticut.
During the party we honored the recent loss of our fellow Chapter member, Rika Ballard (owner / founder of Fly Lugu Flight School at Westfield-Barnes Airport), by signing a memory board and having the opportunity to comfort each other.
Glenna Blackwell read a loving poem in tribute to Rika, and Donna Shea provided heart shaped cookies with beautiful Fly Lugu logo icing on them for all to share. Donna plans to deliver the memory board along with cookies to the flight school. The party also provided a wonderful opportunity for Chapter members, as well as friends and family, to enjoy a delicious potluck luncheon, inspiring conversation, and a lively Yankee Swap.
